CHO Clothes and Food Closet Needs a New Home
For the last 10 years, we have housed our food and clothes closets in a space graciously provided for free by Vienna Presbyterian Church. Through circumstances out of VPC’s control, the complex where the space is located is going to be redeveloped, and we will need to move before the end of October 2023. We are hoping to find another organization that would be willing to host our food and clothes pantry. If your church or business has approximately 950 square feet of space we could use for free or substantially below market rates, please read the attached document. If the space you can offer meets the threshold requirements or if you have any suggestions that might help us in our search, please email us at facility@cho-va.com.

Thanks to KIDS GIVING BACK!
KIDS GIVING BACK is a nonprofit organization in Northern Virginia that educates children about volunteer opportunities.
Our own Todd Hall talked to them about CHO and the kids made snack bags for our Food Closet to distribute to clients.
Many thanks to all who supported the CHO Christmas store!
Thank you to the many donors from churches, civic organizations, and local employers, and the individuals who showed up to volunteer, and to Vienna Presbyterian for allowing us the use of their space. A special shout out to Social4 Good, a local organization that collected over 300 new and lightly used coats, helped staff the store, and served the clients.
We helped 178 families (610 family members, over 300 children) and also provided $50 food gift cards to 335 seniors and those living on social security and disability Our bike program provided bikes to those who requested them.
Many thanks and have a wonderful 2023!
