Waar kunt u ons vinden

Onze Food Closet bevindt zich in de Presbyteriaanse Kerk in Wenen, Parkstraat 124. NE. Bij aankomst op de parkeerplaats dient u ons te bellen. De deur is degene die uitkijkt op Maple Avenue en op de parkeerplaats (zie pijl), niet aan de Parkstraat. Ons telefoonnummer is 703-281-7614 box # 1.

De Kledingkast bevindt zich bij Unity of Fairfax, 2854 Hunter Mill Rd., Oakton. Het nummer is 703-679-8966.

SAVE THE DATE; SEPTEMBER 27 - VIENNA CROP WALK

It’s two weeks until the Vienna CROP Hunger Walk, on Sunday, September 27, 12:30, beginning at Emmaus United Church of Christ, 900 Maple Avenue, Wenen. For more information or to register see https://events.crophungerwalk.org/chw/event/viennava

The Walk supports local and international hunger relief efforts and CHO recieves part of the proceeds. Het is ongeveer 2,8 km lang en duurt ongeveer een uur. A shorter walk is available.

·Stuff the Bus. September19. You can help feed hungry children in your community by donating to Stuff the Bus to fight hunger on Sept. 19! Donations dropped at the North County Government Center (Hunter Mill) op1801 Cameron Glen Drive in Reston will be shared by CHO and Cornerstones. ·OLGC Food/Gift Card Collection – before and after all Masses on September 26 and 27. We’re collecting food and grocery cards (bijv., Walmart, Lidl, Giant ) as well as donations for the CHO Christmas Store at Our Lady of Good Counsel (OLGC), 8601 Wolftrap Road SE, Wenen, before and after the 4 and 6 pm Masses on Saturday September 26 and before and after the 8, 10, noon and 5 pm Mass on Sunday September 27.
